1-3 days before install:

1. Submit this form to ePropertyCare to activate the hub (pls submit multiple forms for multiple hubs):

Activation Process for new Hubs

2. If there is a high density of hubs in the same building (single hub per unit in a large multifamily environment) we recommend node staggering. Purchase a few repeaters and put on a power strip, and using Mobiletech to add nodes to the system, then remove nodes from the system. Repeat this until you get to the desired node number. You want to have all surrounding units (left, right, up, down, across the hall, etc.) to be on different nodes to maximize battery life of the locks.

Download document here for how to do this

3. If units are occupied, create codes in advance in the same enterprise group and store on another door in the system. You can then communicate the codes to tenants in advance.

Here is a article on how to do this

Day of install:

1. Plug in hub in targeted location when arriving on-site. Move hub next to lock (or device) for each pairing operation.

2. Once a lock is paired, go into customer website to sync the resident codes for that lock into it. Leave hub nearby so enterprise codes and unit codes can fully sync.

3. Test out resident codes before moving hub to next location.
