This video shows you how to pair and un-pair the building36 smart thermostat with the building36 cellular gateway. Pairing should be done when the thermostat is mounted to the wall, so bring the modem (has battery power) over to the thermostat to conduct this operation. If unsuccessful, repeat the process by un-pairing the thermostat and re-pairing it.

Wake up the thermostat by pressing a button and turn thermostat off (press center button until no heat symbol or snowflake shows). Then hold the DOWN button for a few seconds until a wireless symbol should appear on thermostat screen. This operation can be used for pairing AND unpairing.
