After installing the Smart Water Valve+Meter (ADC-SWM150), notifications and rules should be created to take advantage of its features.
To create water flow notifications for the Smart Water Valve+Meter (ADC-SWM150):
- Log into the Customer Website or app.
- Click Notifications.
- Click
next to Water Flow Alert. If the alert has not been set up, Resolve will display.
5. Check the device and events you would like to be notified about: High flow, Medium Flow, Low flow or Unexpected Activity (based on the average consumption the valve learns about your property)
6. Add recipients, then click Save.
To create rules for the Smart Water Valve+Meter to shut off during unexpected flow:
- Log into the Customer Website. Rule creation is not supported on the Customer app.
- Click Automation.
- Click
next to Unexpected Water Activity.
- Select which actions you would like for each of the leak types (High Flow, Medium Flow, Low Flow) and the action (Sound the buzzer or close the valve). Check the box for the meter before saving. Click Save.
To create rules for the Smart Water Valve+Meter to shut off during water sensor activations:
- Log into the Customer Website. Rule creation is not supported on the Customer app.
- Click Automation.
- Click Add New Rule in top right of page. Then select "Event Triggered Rule"
4. Name the rule. Select automate my "water valve". Check the sensor and select the sensor you want to tie the rule to. Note: You'll have to create separate rules if you have multiple water sensors. Then Check device in the bottom. You can have this rule operate all the time, or only during certain time.
5. Click Save.
