This article shows how to edit the login template to change what is visible + controllable for the App logins of your team members.
Example:
Your corporate policy dictates that leasing managers are NOT able to remotely lock or unlock an occupied unit door. Adjusting the login template and assigning the correct template to a specific login allows you to achieve this.
This is to be performed by someone with an admin login level, or the ePropertyCare internal team can help.
1. Login to the PointCentral Enterprise dashboard and go to the Occupied (O - name) or Vacant group (V - name), click Settings in left menu
2. Click "Permissions and Integrations", then "Login Permission Templates"
3. Click on the pencil icon on the right for the desired role you wish to edit. In this example we will edit the Assistant Community Manager role to remove real-time control of locks in the units.
4. Under "Enterprise Management permissions", you can change what is visible / not visible on the main Enterpirse Dashboards (for Occupied and Vacant groups).
You can also edit what the role can do inside of the unit in that group. In this example, Lock Control is selected, but listed as "Read Only". If it was UNSELECTED, the login would not see the lock in the unit. As read-only, this means that this role can see the state of the lock, but cannot send a remote command to lock or unlock the door. If you change this to full control the login would be able to lock/unlock the unit locks.
5. After you select the correct permissions, click "select group" and you can copy this template to the other group (i.e if you are in Vacant you can copy to occupied, or if you are in Occupied you can copy to Vacant. Or, you can have different templates in each group if you wish.
Click Apply, and then Save.
6. Now go into a login: Users, Manage Logins, click the 3 dots to edit a login. You can now select in the Occupied Group the Assistant Community Manager role (vs Admin). You can also do the same on the Vacant group, OR leave it as Admin. Click Save.
This will give the Assistant Community Manager template permissions for their App login on the Occupied group, and Admin login permissions on the Vacant Group.
